I tackled by reading this book expecting to have a lot of emotions and that this novel remains engraved in my memory especially with the criticism of Paris Match "his most moving novel." But ultimately I was disappointed. I had never read a novel by Marc Levy and I would be not to start with that one. I have absolutely not felt strong emotions with this book, some weeping with Yves but that's it. That's why I'm a little disappointed.
However, the story was very well done, we really want to know what will happen to this little boy to his childhood sweetheart and his friends Luc and Sophie. A strange power is mentioned in this book and I must admit that we are still hit. What to do to solve the misfortunes of others as they do not concern us? Should we help our friends even if they do not want? These questions are discussed in this book.
I still recommend reading it, however, we should not expect such great emotions at the risk of being disappointed.
