Virtually everything on the camera corresponds to the prior art. Fantastic fast and reliable autofocus, a very good sensor stabilization, a very good viewfinder (which I hardly used), a beautiful LCD display and so on. The Wi-Fi support goes beyond that which offer some other mirrorless cameras currently.
I have the image quality carefully compared with other cameras with a similar sized sensor (Four Thirds and APS-C). The quality is also at higher ISO values to the prior art in this sensor size. In particular, the E-M5 and the SONY NEX-5R produce images of about the same quality. Of course you can see at ISO 1600 in the 100% view some noise, but that is for all producers so unless you have a full-frame camera.
The new kit zoom is sharp, but not as sharp as some of the fixed focal lengths. Whenever possible, you should rather use the Lumix 25mm F1.4, which however only starting aperture 2.8 completely sharply defined, or for portraits 45mm F1.8 the Olympus and the Olympus 75mm F1.8. Even with the 85mm F1.4 Walimex can make great portraits, but because the model must sit still and be patient because the manual focus and the minimum depth of field at F1.4. However, it helps the Focus Peaking, which works very accurate and reliable in the Lumix. PIP Mode (Picture in Picture) ermöglichst a fantastic work with manual Fokusssieren. One can simultaneously have the big picture, an enlarged section, and thanks to Focus Peaking highlighted sharp edges in the view. Manual focus makes a lot more fun and is more precise than in the mirrorless cameras from Olympus and Sony.
I am very satisfied and would recommend the camera highly. I'll use them certainly some years.
