I have this lens for a few weeks now and have to say that this glass is worth every penny APSOLUT. The focal length of 7-14mm (14-28mm in Kb) is really very special and with its 114 ° (degrees), this lens is extreme. It has a very pronounced dynamic image effect.
With the initial focal length of 7mm moves a lot in the foreground image which you have to make really interesting. Personally, I usually enough already when I go to 10mm focal length out click to zoom.
The lens is made entirely of matt black plastic and has a metal bayonet. For this it is still processed very clean and of high quality. The size of the lens is fantastic, it is the same size as my Lumix 14-140mm lens in Kitzoom about.
Refrain You must however use the OIS image stabilizer, but not at all lacking in this short focal length to weight. (Unless you have Parkinson!)
But what's really annoying that this lens has no filter thread. If you want to use the one you have to filter to buy a compatible accessory, or otherwise tinkering is to fashionable use filters.
Nevertheless, this objective would have gotten from me 100 stars, you get the pictures a the breath away. (Skilfully used, this is the absolute prerequisite !!!)
Had I known in advance what will happen to me then I would have bought this lens as the first, so I'm excited.
Just buy it from me.
