After some research, so far I am very good run with MDR V150, MDR V500, V700 and MDR, I decided again for a product from Sony. The MDR V55R liked right away, it is the same technique as installed in more expensive MDR V500 and, although that is not first-rate, and visually he does something forth.

Packaging is typical Sony-plain and lean the facilities more. The MDR V 500 and 700 at least one jack 1,5er essay was still with us. No matter, should not be a point of contention. The jack is what I really like, a 90 ° connector, so that the cable is removed the same side. Of course it is gilded.
The quality of the headphones is, as usual, acceptable at, only the transition from the headphone frame for pinna is the well-known, which can sometime cause problems.
The Earphones fit well and do not press on the ears, as we know it "from-outside-in-the-ear-oppressive" headphones by others. I usually get so after 20 minutes. Earaches, in these, it is no problem.
The sound is round and clean. The bass sound deep and wide, and the highs are not "sharp" to not distort. Both rock, electro, and acoustic songs sound nice and easy harmonious.
For me also of importance: The headphones sound very little to the outside. I hate the feeling in the car to sit, and to think that I nerve my neighbor with my music. That is, of course, with healthy volume setting, not the case here.
All in all I am very satisfied and can only recommend these headphones to the price.
