I'm saying: Frustrating !!

I thought to myself, erase your review but better Maybe you can be too fast with your judgment. Well, unfortunately not.
I'm saying: The disc is frustrating!

Why? The majority of the songs sounds a bit tiring and as songs from "The Best Damn Thing!" Of course, this is your style, but I'm one of the fans who do not really like this girlish "Rebel Songs". I feel as attached and no longer credible. Especially the latter!

Compared to their previous work "Goodybye Lullaby" is Avril Lavigne developed back in my opinion. The lyrics are 0815. There is much to do party to her make-up to tattoos and cigarettes and alcohol. Topping the list, of course, but it's a matter that they have a "motherf *** ing Princess is and never will be old and wants to be. That comes across!
I'm used to better lyrics by her and miss clearly the depth on this record.

Her attempt to "reinvent" acts phony: the song Hello Kitty, I can not buy her the best of intentions. Here she mimics too many other stars by: Rihanna, Lady Gaga and David Guetta, it's not their own style on the contrary. Hello Kitty is the absolute low point of the plate for me.

Their duet with Marilyn Mason, however, I like pretty good, but again, I expected more than this wannabe "Metal Princess" or even "Gothic Queen" fuss. Also not her own style.

Boring are songs such as Rock 'n Roll, Here's To Never Growing Up, Bitchin Summer and You aint see nothing. These songs could they pack on The Best Damn Thing, well it would have been.
In addition, these songs sound very much like older titles, so as it would have given in advance. Boring and for me no reason to be happy because I am not now times on these types of songs. Of course, they are fun and you can hear them, but that bothers me Avril's squeaky and trimmed on girlish voice here such that I have to turn those songs pretty quickly! Annoying. from year to year is her voice shrill.

Surprisingly good I find: Give you what you like, Hello Heartache, Falling Fast and Hush Hush. These songs have soul, not shrill, have less "patch" texts and especially catchy melodies. Just as I was accustomed from Goodbye Lullaby, only partially better. This style should be maintained and filed out.

The duet with her husband Chad Kroeger I find the best, I would have gladly heard from such songs. Here she uses the full potential of her voice without squeaky sound like Mickey Mouse. Really a great number.

Overall, tells me the drive not to, there is a regression in the wrong direction. Spurious, extremely mainstream and mainly boring and unfortunately sometimes not bearable for the ears.

I'm a huge fan of Avril and I am sad about the enthusiasm for its new plant not being able to share.

Buy recommendation: For fans who continue the girlish posturing and tooting buy her having fun with attached plastic songs (booze, tattoos and smoking, as all the teen-Ideal) and are not on ballads or depend on more important things in life than parties their attention want.

Otherwise rather stay away. A lasting impression really leaves this disc will no noteworthy and this is not.

Those looking for music with soul and heart should be better access to Birdy Fire Within, this album, however, is a milestone !!
