And one thing must be said, Arnold shows here finally once again why he was chosen as a composer for the Bond films. Casino Royale is one of the most diverse scores of the decade, even if it starts a little like the Bourne Identity. African Rundown is one of the highlights of the CD for me. It radiates the typical Bond flair, who has unfortunately been lacking in recent films, like all 25 tracks on the CD.
My Anspieltipps are precisely that African Rundown, Solange (a tribute to John Barry), and The End of an Aston Martin and The Switch.
CONCLUSION: If the film is as good as his score, then us is one of the best Bond films of the past 20 years into the house. 5/5
