The driver CD for the Asus motherboard, however, is an outrageous impudence! I was really after to burn the disc on the spot.
1. Even if you "Install Driver" option selected in the driver CD Menu, immediately after the fresh OS installation, the system is clogged up with an arsenal of adware.
Ok, I thought, then I uninstall all the "crap" up again. Nope!
2. The uninstall this adware is one chicane and confidence trick. In a program I was actually at least five times asked if I really want to uninstall and not instead MORE wants to have adware. One other "disguised" as the Adobe Flash plug-in program list from Windows.
3. At some point after an hour of around Plagens (where the Windows installation no more than 20 minutes it took) I have to give up in exasperation and relaunched the entire system, where this time I installed the drivers manually. And it went without problems.
An inexperienced user would probably have brought equal to the new PC to be repaired.
