As a newcomer in the land of bread maker I have first performed the instructions to heart.
This is written clearly and comprehensively.
A separate four-page Quick Start Guide summarizes the most important points together again clearly.
A small Rezeptheftlein is also included.
What ingredients you need for a bread?
In order to make as little as possible wrong, I have a finished bread mixture taken from the health food store (wheat-rye wholemeal brown bread).
The finished cake mixes you only need the usual way of water, possibly dry yeast.
After I wiped the machine briefly damp and had used the dough hook, it could go.
Only the water in the machine, then the contents of the baking mix and finally the dry yeast.
Select baking program, bread size and browning intensity and off you go.
The dough hook is flat and just about 5x6 cm tall and looks like a rounded shark fin.
I must confess, I was more than skeptical about how these "hooks" will knead a homogeneous dough from the ingredients.
Through the window (the in between times fogged) but you can observe how he durchwalkt mass perfectly.
This is done very quietly for a few minutes to an unhealthy rattling sounds that then disappears (I hope this was a one-off appearance).
Do not be alarmed if a little louder clack sound is heard, then the ingredients dispenser is open, he makes even if it is empty.
The machine heats up during operation, although quite warm outside, but not so that you can get burned.
After the initial time indication is running down the display to zero (which takes about 3 hours depending on the size of bread and program), the bread is done. The subsequent holding phase can skip.
The finished bread was almost loose in the baking dish and was taken without any problems.
The "hook" I had taken after the kneading process, which is something more difficult-designed, herauszupfriemeln it at the sticky bread mass.
So I only had a little annoying little hole in the bread that the attachment for the dough hook leaves.
But even if one leaves the dough hook into the machine, it should not leave too big hole in the bread.
The finished wholemeal bread has a nice consistency, not too tight and not too loose and tastes excellent.
Although the crust is not as pronounced because of the lack of top heat, I think the result is absolutely convincing.
The fan is shipped in a measuring cup and spoon in a cake pan and plus belonging stirring hook.
In addition to breads and cakes can also be pizza and pasta and cook jam in the bread machine.
Positive
- Minimal amount of work for a home-made bread (filling and cleaning should probably no more than 10 minutes to complete)
- The operation is pleasantly quiet
- Clear display and easy operation
- Infinite possibilities of variation in terms of the recipes and in contrast to the "buy bread" you know what is in it wirkich
- The homemade bread is very cheap
(Baking mixes has been around for less than 1 Euro and electricity costs per bread are almost negligible and are about 10 cents, which I've checked with a flow meter)
Negative
- The device is a bit bulky (but that is probably valid for most bread machine)
- To throw a bit more complex than a loaf of bread from the supermarket shelves in the Shopping Cart is the preparation course already ;-)
CONCLUSION:
Thoughtful and well-functioning kitchen utensil baking bread breeze makes.
I am looking forward to create proprietary blends and experiment with ingredients.
CIRCA 3 MONTHS and just twenty loaves of barley LATER:
I'm very excited to come out of the machine and buy bread for me is no longer in question.
The mentioned "unhealthy chatter" is no longer occurred and the machine works perfectly.
Basically I take the hook before baking out of the machine and bake times finished mixtures, sometimes Eigenkrationen.
So far, no misslungenes bread was there.
The cost of preparation and cleaning is so low that it is negligible and for me the maker simply means a bit more quality of life.
