More expected. Replacement for iMac, Thunderbolt Speakers

I ordered the unit to the sound of my schrebbel Imacs Late in 2013 and attached Thunderbolt displays upgrade. Devil has indeed here known a good name. The many positive reviews have myself to Sell. The aim was a small speaker that produces a balanced sound and has a little more bass than the built-in speakers, the mentioned devices.
The equipment has been delivered swiftly vo (s) m devil. Apple Like great packed. Makes a heavy quality impression and is less than one would expect.
But unfortunately I was not at all convinced of the sound. A little bit more bass than Imac and Thunderbolt has been around, but that's it. The centers are rather worse. And tonally it resembles a kitchen radio. Also convinced the built-in USB sound card and not fall rather by dropouts.
As a replacement for small Netbooklautsprecher this box may perhaps go through.
But as iMac or Thunderbolt Speaker spare the price is unfortunately excessive.
No buy recommendation.
