The 10th installment of RHCP (read: Red Hot Chili Peppers), aptly named I'm With You, follows Stadium Arcadium (2006). It took a year of work in the studio to get to this new version that does not break three legs to a duck. Not really bad, or having only delusional or memorable passages beaches, this album quickly proves to be light years away from the golden period of RHCP forever characterized by the ever-present and untouchable Californication and Blood Sugar Sex Magic). In return, pop it in practice instead of fierce rock that revealed them and confirmed the rank of major of its kind, still has enough groove to seduce a panel of uninitiated to the facts of this training, quick to widen eyes at the slightest surprise (Brendan's Death reminds the good memories, the missing Brendan Mullen and Monarchy Of Roses or Did I Let You Know). For the rest, it smells strangely warmed and filling. Despite this, and I take paris, this record still has something to talk about him. But the shadow of Frusciante never ceases to hover above the group.
