Kill Bill Vol. 1 (Audio CD)

Customer Review

The soundtrack meets all the requirements, which puts on a musical film Quentin Tarantino, if there are a few annoying little things broadly. It is striking, however, that the 'Kill Bill Vol. 1 OST' is not as straight forward such as' Pulp Fiction OST ', the style set in the' 70s but was musically and vocally somewhat tied. Anyway, this compilation comes along with a lot more variety and unconventional tracks what is noted positively, with one exception in my eyes.
The opener is the Nancy Sinatra ballad "Bang Bang", a tragic-seemingly quiet, but absolutely typical Tarantino song that would not have fallen in 'Pulp Fiction' from the series, as well as Tracke number two, "That Certain Female" an atmospheric rock 'n' roll dance piece, which is also used in the film great and as much statements about the sheriff permits as its appearance does. Then it goes first with a lot of alternative music styles on, so the grandiose sad, instrumental anthem "The Grand Duel - Parte Prima", the psychopathic whistled theme tune, then after a brief but powerful monologue of Oren Ishii is an ode to those in as a hip-hop performance by The RZA. Actually not bad at all, especially in front of exciting and atmospheric background melody. "Run Fay Run" reappears more conventionally with a view to Regiesseur, is the finest jazz from Isaac Hayes, without vocals. The hectic "Green Hornet" in the style of Hummel flight also fits well into the album, then it goes on to highlight "Battle Without Honor Or Humanity", a super bombastic melody that is so versatile and simply leaves a class impression. The following track presents a problem: so strong is the beginning (only this you can hear in the movie), so weak is the remaining part (and then another 10 minutes ...). From a flamenco intro special class results in a stupider popiger Disco-distance runner. That's what The 5.6.7.8's up for it with a slightly different dance number, you should have heard time. "Crane / White Lightning" is not moving and is only in the context of the scene effect. Then again, the range of musical directions will be extended, with "The Flower Of Carnage" you get to hear a beautiful traditional Far Eastern ballad that white touch (as well as the text of war and vengeance, its English translation is printed in the booklet) and a much of the philosophy of Kill Bill expresses. The flute / trumpet Outro "The Lonely Shepherd" by Zamfir and James Last also goes under the skin, but one connects with it instantly moving monologues once by Hatori Hanso and at the end of Bud. It emphasizes the desire for revenge and the Verbittertheit and grief of the protagonist.
"That woman deserves her revenge ... And we die!"
Bottom line, a really successful soundtrack, which is able to reproduce the spectrum of feelings and influences of Motion Pictures well. My opinion is annoying just the long piece of Santa Esmeralda, and even worse: a very strong epic-monumental piece missing, namely that in case of challenge by Oren Ishii by Black Mamba Restaurant. As you can agree that I do not know yet convinced the existing material on the board.
