This book deserves its republication hundred times for the "centennial" of the Great War which is fast approaching! What bothers me a bit is the fact that nothing says on the cover page that the book is a republished study, the first publication dates back to 2003. I think it deceives the reader (ess) who believes buying a very recent work. The first edition had a very nice cover, it is also carefully chosen and very humanistic, it clearly shows that side "trenches brothers," state that has long been "censored" by the state leadership of the various belligerents. Here is a "copy-paste" of my review on the original edition. "A book that tells precisely the war and that 14 of uncensored way. The war made by the sight and private. The rejection of the sense of patriotism by hairy is highlighted and proved by the author that flouts preconceptions. Daily life and a full chapter about the sexuality of the GG soldier that "big-heads" asexual said, his whole body being driven to Victory !! book that challenges conventional wisdom. From experienced anything as lived "
