Story:
Looking for his faithful companion Link rides through the Lost Woods. Here he meets the so-called Horrorkid and ends up ultimately in the hitherto unknown country Termina. It turns out that the Horrorkid carrying the eponymous "Marjoras Mask" to drop to the land the moon and thus to destroy everything. Now it's up to Link to prevent the disaster and sets out to save the world in just three days.
Gameplay:
The gameplay has not changed much compared to the previous, absolute masterpiece "Ocarina of Time". That it had not, after all, it is simply great. In addition, the original MM appeared 2 years from the predecessor, such a short development time would be unthinkable today. The aim in the game is to collect information and items to find parts of the heart to increase its life energy to defeat a variety of enemies in the dungeons and solve tricky puzzles, after which the end a final boss is waiting to be nuked. This has always worked well and that it continues to do so. It makes so alone so much fun just to explore only the world and search for items. The main feature of the game is the 3-day time warp, is caught in the link. He must always use the Ocarina to travel back in time to avert the danger. This principle is the main point, what to argue the Zelda fans a like it, others do not is a matter of taste. Another focus in the game are a striking number of long and side missions. So you can total of 24 in the game of themed masks call his own. Some of them leave the computer-controlled characters react differently to Link and some change the entire shape. Otherwise, has been put on the whole on the proven system, but this time Link is in a slightly gloomy surroundings and go under "time pressure".
Graphics & Sound:
Another milestone of Zelda composer K? Ji Kond ?. So many memorable melodies the one forever remain in my head and so such a great musical background for each evoked emotions have only a few games. A very big plus! The graphics has 64 version also again improved considerably in Verleicht to the Nintendo. The whole area and the details appear much more colorful, more intense and more realistic. Similarly, there are a lot fewer edges and faded surfaces, for more details in both the scenes and in the characters. All in all, the implementation of the 3D version graphically already excellent predecessor Ocarina of Time 3D as managed. I think you can say it was all taken out of the new 3DS that was possible, with a convincing result.
Changes compared to the N64 version (no spoilers):
In addition to the fabulous modernization of graphics and enhanced 3D function of the New 3DS, there are other changes. So the camera can eg with the second Analogpad precise control than ever. Also in the game a few little things have been improved. The "Bomber notebook" is now built up electronically and facilitate the implementation of side quests now a lot. Here all the notes and histories can be viewed at a glance. With the bottom of the screen can be of course again the inventory manage what was just outstandingly implemented as the improved storage system. Some improvements have been made even with the bosses who should but may discover any games themselves for themselves :)
Conclusion:
The gameplay time loop can like it or not, if you take the time but would slow it should be more a problem for anyone. Worth playing, it is definitely, if only because it is immersed in a completely different world and the gaming experience in itself but another than they were used to. Add to that the wonderful music and the customized graphics and to play no less than a few hours in the game. Although the main story with a few temples unfortunately is the shortest and, playing with all the side missions but has a decent extent. Anyone who has loved it on the N64, the new version makes anything wrong and also for newcomers of the title, there is a clear recommendation! :)
