The Actifry promises healthier frying: First, I have to confirm that it hardly smells (highest tasty to the respective ingredients) and special oil has not. The fries, arising out of pre-fried and frozen goods, are absolutely delicious and better than from the oven (especially when, despite the recommendation of the recipe booklet again gives a shot to oil). They are relatively crisp and flavourful on the inside, but I'm honest: "Correct" fries are from the fryer! ;-)
The homemade chips (just cut fresh potatoes into sticks, 1-2 tbsp oil and spices on it, set 20 minutes) on the other hand are very, very tasty and natural. Of course, no comparison to the chip shop, but an entirely different taste, because, depending on the seasoning to come no flavor and without the Vorfrittierung omitted a lot of oil.
I have tried also chicken wings (fresh, nature, seasoned by myself): 25 minutes in the Actifry. They were tender and well browned nicely through the mixer head from each side.
Disappointed have me the chicken nuggets (admittedly with Cornflakespanade): You could watch the paddle as he herunternudelt the breading. I ended up with dry, bare Nuggets and the very crispy breading Extra.
Homemade meatballs meatballs are very good, if you instead makes with dry breadcrumbs with softened bread from the day before, as they will not so easily fall apart and not be so fine.
Completely flashed then took me a very simple, yet sophisticated composition of the small recipe booklet: Cheese Potatoes from London. For this one cuts potatoes into quarters, they cooked in Actifry with a little oil for about one quarter of an hour, then is mild onions (scallions eg.) To then spices and cottage cheese for about 4 minutes - ZACK: Perfect soft cooked potato wedges with slightly melted cheese and nothing suppt! This goes well with feta cheese, because the more difficult to melt, yet gives his entire flavor when heated. By the paddle, which is slowly but constantly in motion, burns nothing and the cheese is evenly distributed.
Conclusion: potato wedges (French) I'm now very happy to own, though (or perhaps?) They do not taste like in the chip shop. Ready-made meals such as chicken nuggets come not as good as the breading is processed. The recipes from the booklet (z. B. a very delicious stew) are twice as good as permanently stirred by the stirrer without you there would probably be even = lot of work!
