Very good monitor, with only minor irregularities

Had the S27A850 ordered in December before (is another product on the Amazon page). The unit had big problems in terms of illumination (backlight bleeding / halos). Apparently I got an old revision (LS27A850DS / EN). Manufacturing date was specified at the first device with June 2012.
Now, however, this device appears with the model no. LS27A850DSR / EN to be the 2nd Revision and I have not experienced any problems with the illumination. Date of manufacture is now given as "October 2012". The monitor provides an excellent picture with rich colors (holds almost 100% sRGB color space (calibration device should apply here, as this has no hardware calibration). Pixel errors I could not find also.

Power supply is external, what I feel here as very positive. Especially since I had already (been 4-year-old) all capacitors on the defective power supply resolder with my predecessor (Samsung 245B plus). The power supply for the A850 but you can also click-on the monitor and is thus firmly connected to the monitor. And I was no noise (hum or high frequency sounds) notice, not even at a low (20-30%) brightness.

The Stand is very large and stable. Likewise, the Stan leg, which is fixed to the monitor housing. A little annoying, I feel, however, the Wackellei while operating the menus. Even when you press the Power / End the monitor is quite good for and then rocking back and forth twice.

Although the function of the light sensor is nice, but I will respond that even at low sensitivity still too nervous.
