Ozzy's third solo album with guitarist Zakk Wylde is significantly darker than the two predecessors "No Rest for the Wicked" and the outstanding "No More Tears". In my view, "Ozzmosis" still clearly another real Ozzy classics. Starting with the superb entry "Perry Mason" (! Super Drums) on the commercial "I just want you" - I've always wondered why that did not become a hit (also please times "Immortal" hear pants from the dead and compare ... "I just want you" is older) about "Thunder Underground" with its (over) significant Sabbath reminiscences ("All Right Now" - that there was just as well in advance to "Sweet Leaf" to hear - but living legends may to auchmal quote itself, especially Geezer Butler bass torments) to the two about songs "See you on the other side" - class text, beautiful song - and "Tomorrow" - hard old school - here are no failures recorded. Varied as always with Ozzy songs, great melodies and great musicians. Rocker heart what you want more ?! And the grim production of Michael Beinhorn sets top it all on ("Tomorrow" has my former car boxes transported to the afterlife). Thoroughly recommended.
