4 new characters are available in this extension: a barbarian, druid, a monk and a paladin, and a few items of their own, plus a myriad of objects already arranged in the basic box. So disappointment because I expected more new cards but in reality this extension is made to play more (5 and 6 players). If we play like me 2 or 3 players, it is not useful. However, it may have the merit of walnut new treasure cards and so consequently to limit some good picks, which makes the game a little more complex. This is for those who find it too simple. As for the characters, they are the ones that make interesting extension because they impose new ways to play. The paladin is great, not easy to play because it can start without a weapon, but it's still a warrior who can cast divine spells, I quickly adopted. The druid is in my opinion too difficult to play because there are too few interesting maps to draw for him: it quickly becomes the weakest link. The Barbarian is a good fighter that should appeal to those who like running into the pile, and the monk is quite versatile. Really not essential, to keep for later, when we played a lot and we want to change characters, and as such I prefer the English character extensions that offer 4 new variants of each class.
