Weezer - given what they have the alternative fan base for musical masterpieces - the lanky guys with the big rock attitude and the "Steel Balls"; until after the red album 2008 air was out. Suddenly they were looking for mass-compatible instead of something individual, or even the insane, even brought out an album under false names and are now with EWBAITE back! It all fits, bold Gittarren, rich bass, anthemic melodies, catchy tunes, a great producer - everything back. Remove individual songs is difficult, so the album is coherent. Yet, the last-named third (Foolish Father and the Futuroscope Triology) still stands out.
Strong buy recommendation -also non-Weezer fans- good music the way alternative rock / alternative pop like!
