One point deduction there for weaknesses in usability that are not really clearly shown in the manual.
1) Those who simply changes after training only in the watch mode and the clock laying on the desk, surprised the next morning that it is empty. Reason: The clock stops satellite Kommkunikation not alone and that sucks the battery empty. So after training simple "V" button for GPS off, the clock keeps wonderfully long. I run three times a week 12-18 km and then match the data over on weekends. Unfortunately, there is not so in the manual.
2) The chest belt loses contact with the clock time and then must be freshly paired. That takes only a few seconds but is annoying, because you only determines if you will start walking and then have to take off the belt again. Trick: Only store the training data, then exit the training mode and only then take off the belt. Then it works wonderfully without problems. Could you also mention in the manual.
3) The plastic used in the chest belt is obviously not hypoallergenic, for me at least bold red stripe across the chest remain that are for hours to see. Well a contact allergy. Remedy: to moisten before dressing I just use a medical Disinfectant Spray and since then I have no more problems with it.
Conclusion: Who does not need a status symbol for rumzeigen and denies any professional race, is completely supplied with the clock. Also finding the satellite goes marvelously quickly, I turn it when leaving the house, and then go down a few minutes to Riverbank and start the MP3 player. Until then, the clock has found the satellite and I may start. So you need to not stand in one place and wait what I want so more.
Purchase crucial for me however was the fact that I could download on the homepage of the manufacturer's operating instructions for clock and software in advance. By that I knew in advance what they can and if I get along with it. Why because other manufacturers always make a secret out of it and you only have to buy a pig in a poke, I'll no longer understand.
So access and happy - at least I no longer expectant against a chunky Forerunner exchange.
