Setting: When you first set the Fantec there are no problems because the menu navigation is self-explanatory. Not only beautifully packaged but also be viable.
Have connected an external hard drive via USB 3.0. All files that I have tried, have run at all.
Video: AVI, VOB and MKV without problems so no stutter or wait long if you want to access the files. Have filled half a 2TB drive.
Codecs - AC3 5.1 or DTS Digital Surround 5.1 running smoothly. So all films with a great picture and sound.
The sound comes from me or a Denon AVR 3805 Receiver - Digital Audio SPDIF Optical connector - (film and music) in DTS / AC3 5.1 Dolby Surround
Music: MP3 not surprisingly, other formats I have not :) Will FLAC but still test without problems.
works really believe everything on the package described. Since I have the Fantec Media Player just two days, I'm going to try a little bit. Should this prove that a codec or format as described does not work, then I'm going this Rezi. . Change
Conclusion: A very easy to use media player of his money is more than value. / Surely the surface menu is pretty packed but with a real Media Center (ie PC with Windows 7 software can not compare) this but I've set aside because the annoying noise of my (Silent PC) led to a conflict again and again.
Fantec Web Media Player S 3600, however, has 0dB :) :)
