There are quite a few inconsistencies lying around, but the writing is fluid, with many dialogues. The characters are not very thorough and we hesitate to attach to each other, because of the atmosphere of suspicion and mistrust that dominates the novel. Emma can she really trust Logan and Jane? Who's Nathan? And Isabelle, what she has role in Mantis? In short, it remains on the edge of the page, and more when anonymous letters and telephone threats messages succeed.
This novel certainly appeal to teenagers.
