I am 1983, pulled off and I've bought this album in vinyl. I had almost all the albums except Abacab that I have not yet even today, and wanted to see if Genesis as to ride on the mainstream pop wave. They did, however, went to me after the first hearing, the ear pieces. "Home by the Sea" is still one of my favorites and I am deeply reconciled with Genesis since this album.
When I was 14, I came for the first time with Genesis in touch. "Trespass" was at that time for a girl who actually came from the ELO-corner, very heavy stuff. Dudelten In our clique albums in 1979, but up and down and I learned to love the music. "Duke" was already Stilbruch and disappointing and "Abacab" then no longer walked. I was one of the diehards and did me hard with the style change. But after this album I was, as written above, reconciled. The albums after that found their way into my record collection.
