The unit I bought for the trip, because my new two foil shaver this is too clunky. I used a brown 3511 (Einfolienrasierer). He was also fit to travel. But there is no longer anything like it on the market, unfortunately. The Einfolienrasierer are now bent all and thus much too bulky for travel. By 3511 I compare the M90 and am therefore of the opinion that the 3511 in some respects was better. The M90 is only 5 grams lighter, ca. 2 cm shorter and even 5 mm wide (!) Than the 3511. The 3511 came with a AA-battery (which unfortunately could not take out) and had a built-in power supply, ie it needed only a simple string, no external power adapter, like any cordless shaver all manufacturers today. The M90 requires two AA batteries. In the instructions only of batteries is talk, not of batteries. Two Alkaline Batteries. This means the device is intended by the manufacturer on batteries. I think that's no longer appropriate. Whether the manufacturer gets commission by battery manufacturers? The device runs on batteries as well. I have read in other reviews, otherwise I would not have bought the device. But the interpretation of batteries (2 x 1.5V) is probably the reason for the reviews on several occasions complained of weakness and slowness of the device (you have to go through the skin several times until all stubbles are gone). Batteries have only 2 x 1.2 V and thus 20% too little voltage. So of course the engine is running entspechend slower. Another reason for the low efficiency is probably the small radius of the shaving foil. The film of 3511 was at least 50% greater without the device so that was noticeably thicker. The trimmer of the M90 works better than I thought, but the position (side is pushed out) and the small size makes working so laboriously. The pushing is also cumbersome because the handle grooves are much too small. Then the finger will hardly stop. The 3511 had a long hair cutter, who went almost over the entire width of the shaving foil and was pushed up next to the shaving foil. This was significantly better. Two points which the M90 is better: 1. The foldable protective cover can not be separated from the device and is thus not lost. 2. The small brush is mounted below the housing and thus always present. If you, however, you have to be careful that they do not lose, because so sure the attachment is not. There is also still room for improvement. Because of the reviews I've read here, I knew roughly what to expect. Since there was no better alternative on the market, I bought the device anyway. Therefore, it meets the expectations arising from the reviews, but not what I expected at an optimal travel shaver.
