After all the turmoil surrounding "Bat Chain Puller" and its (non) -Publishing then "Shiny Beast" finally came first, of course, as a vinyl LP out. After I had "The Floppy Boot Stomp" on the radio, so something was earlier sent evenings in radio, I bought back in the early 80's this record and now recently the CD because I so slow almost everything well again on CD acquisitions.
The album has lost after all these years nothing of its charm and is also suitable for beginners Beefheart.
"When I see Mommy I feel like a Mummy" shows impressively the quirky humor of the Captains, the yes had an intense Beziehng to his mother. "Candle Mambo" has clearly / ambiguous on its typical, sexual innuendo.
I think it's especially great that now even the original tapes were released to the album as bootlegs.
Comparisons are quite exciting, the musicians involved usually give the original recordings intensiver- I liked both
and I am glad about every note / music of "Captain Beefheart".
