Union J (Deluxe) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

At their idols One Direction Union J do not approach, of course, but they are also a good boy band that emerged from "The X Factor" (UK). On the Deluxe Edition of their first album "Union J" to a total of 14 songs are on two CDs.

1. Carry You 4/5
The first single from the album is pretty ear and makes a good mood. Nevertheless, the song is nothing special and the high notes in the chorus interfere partly.

2. Beautiful Life 4/5
This is the second single which is also good, but not really has the catchy factor.

3. Loving you is easy 4.5 / 5
The third single from the album was written by Jason DeRulo, which would have probably sung the song even better. Nevertheless, here the guys from Union J can convince. Again disturb the falsetto in the chorus a little bit.

4. Last Goodbye 4.5 / 5
Another pop song. The chorus is really good!

5. Beethoven 3/5
This song is not particularly outstanding. The vocals are interchangeable, the music also ...

6. Head in the clouds 4/5
The beginning sounds pretty after Robbie Williams, the chorus is again rather average.

7. Where are you now 4.5 / 5
The song has a good beat at the very beginning and is very catchy well. One of the best songs on the album, because the refrain is convincing!

8. Save the Last Dance 3.5 / 5
This song has quite intrusive beats that gehne pretty fast on my nerves. A rather average song ...

9. Amaze me 4.5 /
The first real ballad - a cover of No Angels. This song stands out and convinces totally, although he did not quite comes close to the original!

10. Skyscraper 4.5 / 5
The song by Demi Lovato had been her winning song at "The X Factor" if they had it to the final. They sing well, but nothing compared to the versions of Demi Lovato and Sam Bailey!

11. Carry You (Acoustic) 4.5 / 5
So far the four boys were able to convince more with ballads and the acoustic version is better than the original. That's her style!

12. Head in the Clouds (Acoustic) 4.5 / 5
Again, the quieter version is better than the faster.

13. Where are you now (Acoustic) 4.5 / 5
This version is just as good as the original version. Really the best original song by Union J on this album!

14. Lucky Ones 4/5
In conclusion, there is a new song. This sounds slightly punky, but still good.

Overall, this is this is a good album, even if it is clear that Union J still have a long way to go if you really want to rank among the all-time greats. In the booklet, all lyrics are included!
