Basically, it seems to me the rough to have 4700er the same facilities as the 5000, probably with something more modern printing technology. This is basically ok, but I miss WLAN. I would have expected that this should almost be standard in modern printers. But since I'm wrong well.
Connected matter, USB cable and power cord of the old printer (the old power cord simply was still at the place where stood the old printer and fits) and Windows 7 (64 bit Ultimate) immediately starts automatically with the download of the driver. After a few seconds Windows proudly proclaims, the printer is now ready for use. And it is right: Sits fits, and has game. And without a single keystroke or mouse click. Could not be better! In this configuration, the driver CD can be left safely in carton.
Speaking: When unpacking please do not overlook the CD cartridge. It is so unfortunate set in the package that I had almost overlooked it. It falls very much small stuff when you finally release the printer from countless strips and has defoliated from the packaging. Since one has to watch closely at what is already waste and what is not. Shortly before the carton in the trash should, I finally realized that there may still be something missing ... Without this cartridge can be logically print any CDs. A function that mastered the 5000 already outstanding. Well, if need be I would have looked to see whether the old CD-Cartridge still fits ... ;-)
Otherwise, the printer does what he is and what I expected: a good job. He feels not only high-quality as the 5000, he also sees a good amount of noble. He works fast and the print quality is beyond doubt. I hope it turns out well as a robust workhorse as of 5000.
Bottom line, a smooth buy recommendation!
