The headset acts processed wertig, however, the rotatable earcups are used to, as it will improve the whole system works unstable ..
The Logitech G430 offers a comfortable fit and blocks outside noise quite strong. A conversation while wearing the headset is thus only very difficult not to accomplish up (which, however, not the purpose of a headset is). However, I no longer hear my doorbell, which is not optimal ...
At the sound of the headset can not be faulted. I use it mainly to play CS and all steps are clearly assigned (after a bit of familiarization). Shots, however, are very dominant, which is why I have made some adjustments in the (good working) equalizer.
The microphone also does exactly what it should. I clearly understand and voice activation works flawlessly.
Now for the big shortcoming. When I used the headset for the first time, I was quite amazed when I heard myself breathe from the speakers and use the keyboard ... The whole then even with delay. I barely made it in TeamSpeak to speak an entire sentence because I've always listened to me: D
There may be people who are happy about this feature, but I do not belong to this group of people ...
In addition, you can hear in this state, a permanent noise from the ears if you do not speak or breathe. This bothered me a great deal more.
The software provided by Logitech here provides no way to resolve this issue. Fortunately, after some trial and error I have found a way.
Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar -> Playback Devices -> Right click on loudspeakers (3 Logitech G430 ...) -> Properties -> tab level -> Disable microphone completely
The microphone does now continue his service but without direct transfer into the ears ...
I'll keep the headset and hope that Logitech makes adjustments in the software and the headset keeps a few years :)
