Hardware qualities go through loveless software or firmware verlohren

The screen is nice and big - I do not want to miss this size. The colors in the delivery state not fit with the naked eye - the gray menu are all dusky pink. The colors are when they are set, also fine. Unfortunately, however, is a complete software to forget: It starts with the fact that there is no mode where you can use all the functions at once: So either you value the ergonomic functions (adjustment of display brightness to the ambient light), then only is the standard mode possible, or to adapt the colors that only the user mode is possible. The circular USB controller where you can save some operating modes is nice - but every time I turn on factory settings and I can do all EINSTELLUINGEN reprogram: All color settings - all key settings - brightness must be reset.

The same with the bundled software (where I mind you brought me the latest version from the website): The unreliable thoroughly. Although you can program presets - I have this but in practice once a day replay. The software keyboard layout is not saved, and so is also this worthless.

CONCLUSION: Such a carelessly programmed by the hardware monitor great, but the software that virtually lost all the benefits and you have a monitor that perhaps is still acceptable. PS: Very much hope to a firmware update and software update - otherwise it is my last BenQ

Nevertheless, I am happy about the big screen - man can be great to work with it and watch movies. The fact that the points are not excessively small and so all menus are easy to read is important to me. And the daily readjustment is now routine.

UPDATE: 03/04/2015
I have uninstalled the software, because I thought they were useless - and lo and behold: The settings were not lost. :-)
Then the software once installed (latest version of website) - and maybe something went wrong during installation.
This time it paid (!!!) that I install the software as administrator (not double the Setup.exe but right click - "Run as administrator"). This is likely to have been decisive.

And lo and behold: The software works mostly :-) You never forget the settings and that's the most important thing to me. The sensor mode to detect if one sits just on the PC does not recognize me still on the "Wide" and is therefore not used by me. (My screen is when I'm sitting upright, about 70cm away from me).

Appreciation of 2 to 4 stars.
