Harmony, yet obliquely ...

This collaboration with Jon Anderson, I find great. Harmonic elements and yet the whole thing does not become certainly in kitsch. But on the contrary. It's a rollercoaster of harmony and oblique elements in the way that it can only Vangelis.

For example, "School Boogie" - the fastest Boogie I know - suddenly interrupted by apparent disharmony. But only, only to slide back into the dynamic Boogie.

The disco number of 80 "State of Intependence" later weak interprediert of Donna Summer, is a face-off tip.

But the reason called "The Friends of Mr. Cairo" is a musical video. A tribute to old Hollywood movies and actors and the story plays aA film. Ear to eye: "You see, what I hear?"

"Mayflower", "beside" and "Outside of this" quiet and ingratiating.

All this with the incomparable voice of Jon Anderson.

Only "I'll Find My Way Home" - incidentally, was not present on the 1.issue the LP - is for me a little corny.
