Customer Review

Since it is so: Headphones! The highly anticipated second album from me Fiva & Radrum.

First of all a few words about the two. On Fiva I became aware for the first time on the DJ Stylewarz album. With "My font" She sat there a climax. As I looked around for a possible album of this, I came across "mirror writing", the debut album for FIVA MC & DJ Radrum. On this the two were supported by Glamourlicious (MainConcept), which co-produced the album. This plate was in a short time to one of my favorite records, since a kind of Rap was mediated and lived, which is now very rare. Without exception, all of the songs dealt with themes and contents. They had no need ever to celebrate itself and shut down other. And the way in which Fiva content transported in their rape, a thought-provoking and raps in spite of everything on a high technical level was simply unique.

After this album I thought again and again eyes and ears open and waited anxiously for new material. Through regular visits our website the two I kept myself up to date. And to my delight, they announced in 2005 to have a new album ready and to seek only one label for distribution. As a little treat before 3 tracks have been previously published and distributed through the website. Of course I ordered this pre-EP equal and the new songs hit the same one with me. But the album just could not. Apparently, the two could not find a label that wanted to release "headphones". Then came perhaps the most important decision of the two. They founded their own label "headphones Recordings" and took care of from now on even to the distribution of its plate. But when first release was not the new album gedropt, but a 6-track EP that the two shots with Mnemonic. And "back to back" was just great. FIVA & Mnemonic complemented each other perfectly on the tracks and Radrum delivered to wonderful beats. This EP is also one of my favorite plates.

And now, about 1 year after the launch of their label is finally the album "headphones" in the record stores.

Now the album:

I can only say the wait was worth it! The 16 tracks all convincing. Already after the first listen is clear to me that the two have again produced a gem when it comes to rap. The beats are time exception of Radrum and with this production he has to hide from anyone. The music always fits perfectly with the voice and the lyrics for FIVA. This shows us once again what rap is all apart from boasting and Gangsta lyrics. I think it's wonderful how they reflected and processed various topics in their lyrics. As an example, here perhaps "I believe in you" called. Wonderful as they reveal their thoughts and feelings in relation to God here.

Conclusion: For me, one thing is certain, as long as Fiva & Radrum make music, I stay true to the rap, no matter how many Gangsta else draw him into the dirt.

Thank Fiva & Radrum and good luck with your label.
