Haptics: The fire phone fits comfortably in your hand - to me it looks robust and simple design like that. By Gummierungen it does not slide so quickly out of hand (yes, my iPhone is geflutscht me frequently from the hand that's why I think the idea of Amazon well; o))
The operating system OS 3.6 Fire can be operated intuitively and easily with one hand. Previously I used an iPhone 5s and private business, a Samsung Galaxy S4. The "switch" on the Fire OS 3.6 strikes me from the optical representation seen her easily.
Dynamic Perspective: Now this feature I see critically - the gesture control may actually frustrate - bugged me the iPhone already temporarily automatically changing perspective when tilting the phone. When fire phone this nerve factor is greatly potentiated in my view - the complete menu navigation via gesture control is nevertheless extremely getting used to and is not optimal for me as somewhat impatient people.
The 3D effect is, however, partly impressive since I was so little so far not lived with a smartphone. Here you can spend some time with - eg in the maps app, just get out looking for the Cologne Cathedral and take a look. It looks as if he would rise from the display.
Optics: The design is simple and functional - comparable to the Fire tablets or the Nokia Lumias. Not very sexy, but rather timeless.
Features: This is revealed, in my view, the biggest advantage of the Fire Phones - the features are truly innovative! I can scan all sorts of things, what interests me and often find just the information you want. It is nice that it not only comes to shopping - it works in cultural goods such as statues and works of art, just as with actors (when my wife asks "has not played at ...?"). I like that very - I can everything myself with little effort get interested many additional information.
Telecom Binding: Hard criticism, as I read here ... I personally, however, different. The power and especially the coverage is very good in my experience. I have almost always good reception and fast internet which I need when I want to use the fire phone with its features. It is useless to me to scan an item in the electric market to compare prices or to brag about in the museum with show-knowledge (o)) if I have no reasonable connection with sufficient volume of data. I can also on the telecom side will book the smaller tariff from about 36 per month. For me completely ok - then Amazon secures a certain exclusivity and shows amS that this is a trivalent unit.
Service: The service MayDay Amazon is for me here far ahead. I've always had good experiences and questions are answered there really quickly.
There is also a free cloud with unlimited storage - for example, Apple's cloud extension costs extra.
Apps: Well, so far the selection is relatively low. But let's think back to the first iPhone. Was there already a huge selection of apps? No. The fire phone offers many new features and the Amazon App Store is relatively young - here only new apps still need to be developed. The fire phone can do more than other Android phones - it deserves its own App Store. This is filled depends on the demand - so wait.
My personal conclusion: I find it exciting to augmented reality approach. For personal use, it is exciting and useful. However, it would not be appropriate for me as mobile service - the gesture control is too frustrating, but I need more peace and serenity. In my view it has great potential - hopefully develop exciting third-party apps for 3D content and the other Fire Features.
