The pile height is about 15 to 17mm and can thereby still good to relieve very well with the beater bar from dog hair. He actually does not pill: In the slicker brush, with which I had brushed a good piece of the carpet to test, was only dog hair to find.
Impressed I am still of the skid resistance of the carpet to smooth floor (laminate): After more scarce three weeks I had to straighten him not once, though will be played and dragged on it.
That alone has already earned 5 stars.
When ordering, I was a strong odor nuisance due variously reported more or less. Well, that was when my copy under any circumstances so because in the worst case, the thick film in which it is delivered, something smelled. Rolled out there was no reason to complain.
In short, a very easy-care and pet-compatible carpet at a good price.
