Foucault's Pendulum (Paperback)

Customer Review

this book, we offered it to me. seeing him I thought "hey, even a contemporary classic that everyone buys to say 'I read of Umberto Eco!" is the first book by this author I had on hand (and certainly not the last). in the beginner, it is quite baffled by the back and forth in time, not always very clear hints, but it rapidly enters the frame and then we will never recover. by walking around the world, through the ages, the author gives us a fantastic story of history, lies in history, liars in history. because if the meme "plan" does not go as he describes (and again, who knows?) is assuredly true that the great men of the earth have shaped the hispanic at will in often obscure goals ...
the author takes us into an incredible frame, keeping us snorkeling while occasionally we go back to the surface when the narrator reminded almost a regret, that all this is only the fruit of his imagination and overflowing erudite, and that of his two friends. we could blame this liver has the enormous amounts of references SPECIALIZED it (though it does not bother me at all, but it can irritate some readers), this feeling of "flaunt knowledge", the logic a bit " sloppy "on the banks used by the stakeholders in the development of their plan (it's almost too easy sometimes) it prevents all these defects are based in the greatness of the work and its irresistible magnetism. has read and meditate without hesitation length. who knows if there is no truth share in these pages ...
