Customer Review

Actually, I had after the excellent 'Goin Down South' another slice this category expected. But the band breaks down clearly. Unfortunately Gina Leigh adopted as the lead singer. Had to be not so bad, because to Blues and Southern Rock fit well flushed Männerstimmen better anyway. But far from it. The band probably wanted another 'chicken' as a stage attraction and won gain in the form of a lady name Kristin Markiton.
-And Jetz 'ham' ma the dirt in Schachterl (if I may say this in light bajuwarischem-Southern style). The woman I would not even be singing a Fersehspot for sour cream! I have no idea how to mastermind Tom Gray was getting on so a third-rate Hüpfdohle. Moreover, the Lady then most Takes sings even (sometimes in duet with Gray, but what makes the matter not much better).
Musically the band has eased my mind a little, although some very good Takes can be found on 'Howlin'.
The disc starts with a great slide intro ('You do not have to go') and gives hope for more. But then begins the colorless agonizing vocals and makes everything down. A comparison to Little Feats Shaun Murphy comes to mind. Only the least has more vocal range ...
What remains? The Takes 'Offizer', 'Tilt a Whirl' (which you already know from the Live), 'Let tomorrow be' and 'Midnight Train' are very good and are sung by Tom Gray, of itself a beautiful, warm voice has. Therefore, the new handle to a Bühnenschl is .... more incomprehensible!
I want 'Howlin' mies make anyone. In addition I like the band really well too. But I recommend to anyone who already knows the band and is interested in this disc, first (and wherever) into listening.

Overall, the 2005 output Delta Moon is clearly the missratenste in the band's history. Had the aforementioned Takes not, the CD would perish mercilessly. Nevertheless, the four or five very good titles are simply too little. So you have come back for more. Delta Moon have, in my opinion, very great potential. But it obviously know (and currently) not to implement. I know I should not presume to operate personnel policies for the band, but the 'chicken' belongs dismissed anyway! If the remaining Takes then have a bit more drive yet and the slides a little fatter come, then it'll work again with the neighbors ...
