Since 9 years ("Resolve"), there were no new studio album of Lagwagon and I no longer even expected that will ever appear even one. A few days ago I have again resorted to the electric guitar and hingedudelt old classics like "Give It Back" or "Razur Burn" in front of me .... but now the review. The album opens with the acoustic "Burden of Proof" rather unusual for a Lagwagon album. Does not sound bad, but is no longer as an intro that leads to a slightly wrong way, because the second of the song "Reign" in the old familiar Lagwagon style already at full throttle and yet gives a very full guitar sound and is used in combination with Joey's vocals quickly clear the Lagwagon has developed his own sound. Quite different the melodic "Made of broken parts" which already listen the first capture someone fully. In "The Cog in the Machine", they make you feel at the first bars almost in the genre Metal, but with a Lagwagonsound ..... the remaining pieces of the disc and you can also at a fairly high level no specific title Of particular note, since the entire album fucking rocks. For Lagwagon fans this album is a must and maybe you start a few new fans.
