Less than usual

The story lines are completely impossible to believe. The DS Havers is really going to ground in Italy, does everything it takes to be fired from Scotland Yard, against the advice of his superiors, and the end did nothing - really unlikely. And worse, I want although Ms George is American but I've never heard an English saying "Goddam" (I read the English version of the book and am English) an expletive quite American. I would like Ms George is back on track for the up I liked the books but this one really disappointed me.
