Love on the second listening

Quite oblique, hardly to listen .... I seem to remember that these were my first impressions of "Soviet Kitsch" on CD.
After repeated listening, my opinion has changed to absoltuer fascination. Regina Spektor returns with this album a great work that has made professing permanent fan myself. (Mandatorily is also the double album "Begin To Hope" on vinyl).
What Regina Spektor shows here on vocal range and atmosphere is good: time tender and gently, sometimes smile, then yelling or even shouting - but always full drawing under its spell!
The comparison with the I greatly Tori Amos is so far allowed, that Regina very headstrong and great singing and in my opinion also the same brand recognition as Mrs Amos deserved.
What I have to say all Interssenten: The Vinyl is more appealing compared to the CD more dynamic and emotional!
You remember "Soviet Kitsch" by Regina Spektor was not for love at first sight, but a permanently lasting after repeated!
