In his secret wealth and romantic depth and witty playfulness - for me at least - a constantly surprising admission. Almost timeless plate with imperishable melodies that do not grab the listener right the first time, but this makes it stay for years audible without a rob the nerve. The oft-cited "pressure" any record bosses after the success of the debut in the same year (both 1978) - Well, it has ever been? I see nothing. This album is composed with a light hand. Most songs can not hide the fact that they once at the piano "fantasized" about a young woman were. Incidentally, a very common method of composition that have applied the "serious" composers - the rich emotions just flow with Kate Bush directly in the fingers which play the keys. Her characteristic vocals are located on the first two albums in extraordinary height. This may scare some - because these extreme altitudes may also affect the ears pointed and hurt. For me, passion is in it. Here nothing is breathed or tricked otherwise - the songs are durchgesungen disciplined. It is this art of sung passage I want to praise.
