Mediocre Action Title

After I was very enthusiastic about the previous Red Faction Guerrilla, I decided to buy the successor too. Unfortunately I'm not satisfied with this decision. Here again the pros and cons of this game:

+ Nice effects and explosions
+ Interesting weapons
+ Pretty monsters and harmonious colors
+ Entertaining action for in between
+ In some passages to use vehicles or as in the predecessor Walker, with whom you can let out the sow (but sometimes too easy)

- No engrossing storyline
- No longer OpenWorld
- Environment is always very dark and handsome identical, making it boring (also color alternation would have been nice)
- Usually one ballert only dull many monsters Platt, of which there are not an excessive number of variants
- A few more skills would not hurt

Far away from the points to the gameplay bother me 2 other things. I have now bought the game for the Xbox, and on the package is suggested, the game would be to play locally for two. That's not true! It's all over System Link and Xbox Live. Furthermore, you have the destruction mode which is independent of the campaign, unlock via code. For resale of the volume of new buyers must buy more this code, which is in my opinion absolutely not worth it.

Conclusion:

Those who like a little action in between, like can strike at this game for about 10. I think in one night with a mate and a few beers you can shoot through the abwechseld surfaces of Mars, and will feel entertained. Who now but a great story or varied locales expected should decide against a purchase.

The predecessor, however, I can thoroughly recommend!
