Melodic Power Metal

Melodic Power Metal

The Forth Legacy (Audio CD)

Customer Review

I Kamelot, I did not know before, 2010 saw at Rock im Park and was so impressed by the performance that I have then found me a few slices. Forth Legacy is the oldest of them. What the Amazon reviewer writes up there, I can, as the other reviewers did not understand. Jacobs Dream, which I have also listened to this review out can not keep up by far. Kamelot always deliver from high musical quality, who melodic rock with hard guitar riffs (super guitarist) and punchy rhythm section in metal style like, connected with poetic texts, which is exactly right. Forth Legacy is certainly one of the best, if not the best album of Kamelot. Beautiful melodies, driving Power accompaniment, strong sound carpet, many musical influences installed (Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, Arabic and Celtic sounds, etc.), great singer, varied in tempo (for me true progressive metal's more than Power Metal). The almost hit the Illustrative drifting off chorus of the otherwise magnificent Nights of Arabia can easily get over the quality of the album. Of the other albums that I know, I find Black Halo strongest.
