Symphony of the Damned (Audio CD)

Customer Review

I have been given this album and was very excited before the first hearing, since I've never heard before that some of Lefay.
So, CD tricked, turned ... and the first song, "The Whore Of Babylon" has me directly liked it so much that I've heard it several times! One of these crackers to which you want matt brandishing bounce around the room (note also the great drums at home and outro) and a melody that is hammering in your head!
The style? Power metal with lots of good melodies and ideas. The vocals of Charles Rytkönen reminded often of Metallica, but what the heck ... and in the guitar melodies and solos inserted somewhere a little bit of Iron Maiden - for example in a short harmony Reef in the second song, "Symphony Of The Damned" ( which incidentally has many interesting exchange).
Highly recommended, I also think the instrumental "The Secret Doctrine" and the ballad "Last Rites". But the raucous title "War Without End" is a direct candidate for the Skip button; also can not compete with the "actual" material, the four bonus tracks really. Otherwise, however, this album is a very excellent metal tip!
