The "Game of the Year 2003" I played games for about 10 years always enjoy in various Games, did it also very often given away and always learn only positive reactions of the recipient:
+ Alhambra is brilliantly simple; the short, clear rules of the game will help that you can start playing right away.
+ Alhambra has a little luck factor (which is part of any good game for me to do so), high strategy and planning factor, and a very high fun factor - I've never experienced players in this game in 10 years, who were really unhappy or annoyed ,
+ As in any case, even in front of a self-a beautiful, colorful Alhambra grows and brings points, it does not so much from losing - a beautiful building located in front of a, what more could you want?
+ Alhambra has each a very different character when it two or three plays (big Alhambra complexes are formed) or when it's fifth or sixth plays (there is a scramble for the building tile, and often grabs a a front man exactly the most appropriate component away). Both have their charm.
+ There are a lot of extensions; who once forfeited the appeal of the game, can bring through the various extensions interesting variations into play. I myself really like the masons' guilds, the exchange offices, the bonus cards and the diamonds.
+ Alhambra you can play well with young and old, game experts and casual players. A novice can help a little and give advice; but the application itself creates really any. After 50-60 minutes the game ends.
+ I can give this game a single minus sign; it belongs to me next Stone Age, Finca, Bluff, Las Vegas, Fresco, Village and most recently "Abluxxen" to the "all time greats" that I will probably play a lifetime like.
