Götz Alsmann is a very wonderful musician. The problem is, he can not sing. This is becoming more apparent because of the contrast to the brilliant production is so extreme. The new CD is musically again a great Jewel Studio, fine arrangements, excellent musicians, wonderful text translations into German. But this weird chant goes a very quick on my nerves. What a beautiful production could have this CD when Götz Alsmann would not sing himself, but would be looking for its projects each guest singers who can really sing well.
