I was lucky enough to be at the concert here. And be warned Lisitsas playful class that they offer on the CD, had Live at the Royal Albert Hall real goosebumps potential. It is no longer just a YouTube phenomenon like many others, but has earned a place on the big stages. Almost every piece is an impressive proof of the technical brilliance and temperament, gives that certain something to the Lisitsa their interpretations. She plays not just so down, but each piece is dedicated the attention it deserves. One thing, however, is to address. Live is namely not, neither the photographs nor the program is identical. Pieces that Lisitsa played live, are not included on the CD it (for example Schubert's genius brought forward setting of the Elf King) and vice versa also. But those who were not at the concert here, perhaps more than would notice that no applause is heard. The CD is a wonderful memory for me. Who was not there, to 70 minutes very beautiful piano music not to be missed. Definitely worth a purchase, although there one star deduction for my view not appropriate designation as a live recording.
