Their common structure with cards "regional" and detailed maps, country by country, is unwavering. It allows, with strong supporting text, to enlighten us (ie to give us the means to understand) the complex springs of history. The angle chosen is that of geostrategy, texts and figures (people, languages, religions etc.) come to highlight a frame based only on maps.
The Atlas of the Peoples of America is the latest of the series of securities. With more text and fewer cards than usual, Jean Sellier sign here nevertheless a comprehensive atlas that allows to consider ahead of America's "discovery" as the major changes that resulted from the arrival Europeans. The history of each independent state is finally then analyzed in a more classic. A great reference on the subject.
