Looking for a replacement for my Minolta 28 / 2.8 I opted for this lens. The viewing angle is slightly smaller than my desire focal length, which I like less. With the old lens I could make 5.6 and 8.0 still satisfactory images only at f. My new optics also provides already at f1.8 significantly better results. Thanks to the high light intensity and the camera's internal image stabilization Sony I discovered the indoor photography for me again. Not only this it is simply unbeatable. About the optical imaging performance, there is hardly any complaints. Therefore, I will not easily give up the lens.
