First impression
The cover is very simple, and if I'm honest, it would notice me immediately. From Scripture you can read it's wonderful, it all fits. Overall, I find the presentation really great and it fits the band and the album.
The songs
01 Weightless: One of the most beautiful songs from the album. It stops at the beginning to a voltage, while Alex sings and the guitar sounds pretty expecting and then begins shortly before the chorus to become more active. The chorus is really nice and I have to sing every time almost loud when it is running. It takes me and not let me go.
02 Break your little heart: Here you descend the same amount of a Rocking and everything goes much faster. It's really a great song to dance and also sing along. Here I can really get rid of the room and bouncing my pent-up energy.
03 Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Dont): If the song begins, then at least I'm going to bounce around the room. The beginning is fast with a strong guitar but when Alex starts singing almost all instruments calm. The chorus you just have to loudly sing and really rock. This song reflects in my eyes All Time Low best again. I like the live version of their DVD almost better than the studio version.
04 Lost in Stereo: This is my favorite song on the CD. In all respects it is simply inspiring for me. I love the lyrics, the melody and Alex voice is anyway the hammer, but here he surpasses everything again. Because right comes the desire for this girl who is lost in stereo sound to be.
05 Stella: Who may well be Stella, was my thought when I read the title and I was very excited about the song. Once Alex starts singing my eyebrows are hiked and a grin appeared on my face. It was just too cuddly. It is a song that really brings life and you get them just in a good mood.
06 Sick Little Games: Already in the intro is a conscious, which is not a party song. All Time Low has with Sick Little Games a beautiful ballad on their album that makes a heart melt. This song has really driven me over time tears to my eyes. It somehow sounds so desperate and yet it is absolutely beautiful and rocking on his own way.
07 Hello Brooklyn: As the head nods with already automatically and bounce feet. The beat goes through a skin and bones. One waits in practice only to leave it so right and in the chorus, it is finally time. According to sing and hop is definitely announced here. The song just makes good mood and is perfectly located behind Sick Little Games. As you come out of the gloomy thoughts back up to full speed, and the mood is rapidly increasing.
08 Walls: Here I must honestly say that Walls is one of the songs that I have long listened not really aware. Only when re auditioning for this review, it has struck me so right and remained in the ear. It does not sound quite as catchy as the other songs, but certainly has its charm.
09 Too Much: This song is again a ballad, this time a really quiet. I have almost every time I listen to it, close your eyes. Just so I can enjoy the song properly. This song makes me somehow incredibly sad and melancholic, yet it is for me definitely one of the highlights of the album.
10 Keep The Change You Filthy Anima: Okay, I've just read the title, I could not remember the song. Then, when the chorus came, however, I knew it again. Because that is really catchy and stays in your head. The rest of the song is not quite as good. Nevertheless, I would say it's not the worst on the album.
11 A Party Song (The Walk Of Shame): The Party Song is actually a party song and comes both with me and with most other, which I showed the song really good. Not only that, he tells of a party, you can also celebrate this really well. He put me in a real elation.
12 Therapy: Besides Too Much this is probably the quietest song. The whole song almost tears my heart and I want to take Alex at this moment just in the arm. Anyone who has ever been in love is, can empathize well here. This song I can listen to over and over again and it is not just boring. Again, the live version of the DVD sounds so nice, and if I'm honest, I never expected that Alex meets such sounds, but only in passing.
A little extra:
Poison: It's totally different than expected, fairly quiet, then increases but to refrain. However, it remains for All Time Low ratios but quiet and does not rotate as pronounced as on other songs. Maybe not necessarily my favorite song, but I like it very much. This song is ended up here because I do not know where it belongs and in my Nothing Personal was folder. It amazed me to find it on any album and I have no idea how it has come thereinto.
Conclusion
Nothing Personal is really a great album. The songs are all really great and there is none in which I can say that it does not like me. All Time Low has perhaps not been written with this album of music history, yet it has become something really great, that you can be very proud of and that you also always like to listen to.
