Word is out - The opener grooving really good and has to offer an unusual but beautiful melody. The song was also the first single from the album but no big hit for Kylie, of which one was Eingängigeres usual.
Give me just a little more time - this cover of a 70's title make a really good mood. With tidy retro touch the song is somewhat reminiscent of "The Loco Motion" and the ingenious melody remains hanging in the head immediately. Nice.
Too much of a good thing - Here Kylie sounds very sexy. The beautiful catchy melody has convinced me immediately, Kylie's voice sounds different here, ever since are also backing vocals and she sings really never really clear. But somehow makes the title really cool and a highlight of the album.
Finer Feelings - Here you can listen to the maturation of the singer most clearly. You can sing even the most demanding and really brilliant songs. Again swings again with sizzling eroticism, but unlike the previous titles Kylie sings clearly and demonstrating her vocal strength. Subsequent hits "Confide in me" appear to be inspired by this song. Lovely to listen to, and the absolute highlight.
If you were with me now - this duet with Keith Washington is a sugar-sweet (sticky) ballad. A significant relapse in ancient times (Especially for you) terribly corny and predictable. Vocally but top.
Let's get to it - The title track is a relatively slow classical Poptitel which (only) affects quite lengthy and drawn despite a length of 4:45 min.
Right here, right now - here wielding a really cool disco sound in the background, plus there's a beautiful melody and plenty of good humor. What is lutschter (in 2011) Standard many Kylie title today was still fresh.
Live and learn - The sound of the typical Kylie Minogue 1980 early 90s. Beautiful simple melody with a catchy sound, a title but also fatigued quickly and get bored.
No World Without You - beautiful ballad, accompanied at the Kylie only by an acoustic guitar. Very emotional and strongly sung, with goose bumps guaranteed. Toll.
I guess I like it like that - Dance music with slight techno strikes and an uninhibited screaming Kylie Minogue. A proper melody's actually not just a recurring refrain. But the sound is very catchy and cool, the song immediately goes into ears and legs. Dance pure pleasure. Particularly well the slow finale succeeded where the song almost dissolves into nothingness.
I do not know whether Kylie knew already in the production of the album, that this is the last work of me is their previous master producer. In any case, Ms. Minogue sounds at the end of their 1st career phase significantly more mature and musically open than before, as if to compete for new producers to the motto: Look, I can do other things. Regardless, this is certainly their best album to date. And the presentation and design of the CD have convinced me, even though the different colors (each page differently) in the booklet seems a bit strange. Lovers of printed lyrics also come at their expense.
For those younger fans Kylie (from "Fever") would this disc an absolute discovery and enrichment, because this woman is making music for so long and in some cases they did so much better than earlier today.
