To make it short: I regret it deeply, to have spent money on this OS, because ... ... Before the 8.1 update the PC is constantly frozen. ... The operation with these confusing tiles is a horror. One finds nothing at first glance and you have to constantly awkward horizontal scrolling. ... Since installing this OS is my CPU fan no longer silent. From 5 hours were 4.5 hours Vista with Windows7 and Windows8 since the installation my battery lasts quite 2 hours (battery is demonstrably still absolutely in the green zone).
I can really recommend this operating system no one else. Even for amateurs, beginners and seniors the concept of this OS is opaque and not useful. Who wants to work with his PC, befriends after the first three hours Windows 8 afloat with the idea to throw the PC together with software from the window. After you spend hours trying to figure out how Windows 8 with third-party software may ensnare, that it looks like Windows. 7
Conclusion: Microsoft, set, six. There you have unfortunately failed completely.
