Ordinary Shooter with moderate Story

Bioshock 2 was by no means disappointing, but could not keep up with the grandiose predecessor. The characters are well represented and again excellently synchronized - both in the original English version and the German translation. The charm of Sander Cohen missing but this is not quite as eerie underwater world. Opponents are available with a variety, offer variety and the well-chosen arsenal in combination with the very good improved plasmids (combination / impact / effects) make fun playing. However, one quickly realizes that greater interest has been placed on the Shooter share, making the story unfortunately is a little too short. The violence is not to be underestimated, but is displayed at a healthy rate - so you should get both splatter fans and "normal" player on their costs.
Without wanting to reveal much of the story, I would like to point out that one should not think too much. It converts most of the time from one area to the next Rapture, without having a real reason for the station. The many audio diaries (the first part very linked to the story) have slightly less room for a good story, though they are well worth it to play through the game a second or third time. A big disappointment I found the one with the moderate placed underwater sections. I was expecting more passages in flooded areas and possibly fighting underwater. The multiplayer will start very quickly (not counting an account at Live - I had little problems) and fun to play, as long as you do not have to compete directly against people ranked 50+ that are simply unbeatable experience and upgrades to Level 1. The maps allow connoisseurs plenty of space to marvel and retrieval of old areas of Bioshock, but are quite to the Death Match adjusted and therefore not as decorated as the single-player maps from the predecessor. The start area is built up very interesting; you "dive" into a real game. Plasmids are modified especially for the multiplayer, so that ice slows down the opponent, but to freeze him nich. The weapons strengths are well poised to make it experienced players somewhat easy.
A small word for "Games for Windows Live": It may be that some people get upset because they only need to create an account, if it is their first game of Live. It may also be that this application takes a little. But I do not quite understand why you so disparagingly spoke out against the game, just because it is protected by this program. Once I play online, I have to be one way or another connected to the Internet. The single player is also available in offline mode. SecuRom does not matter once the game has been installed, the only ones who should complain about this protection, are pirates - and the buy here even the special edition. Since it is very surprising that we find tags as "CustomersLinked asses" on this review in the proposals. Therefore, I recommend everyone to try the multiplayer once I have decided not to play online; my taste is not quite, I prefer to play TF2 - I still think the game in the price / performance ratio is quite acceptable.

So why a rating 4 out of 5 stars?
It makes the whole package. The box is great decorated and is an eye-catcher among other games - I like to buy collector editions and has rarely been so impressed by the package.
